HELO Statement not keeping brackets

Hello,

I have configured my postcastserver free edition and noticed I kept getting blacklisted. I contacted the proper people to remove me from the black list but they informed me to avoid this from happening again I need to put brackets around my IP in the HELO statement.

So I went to my HELO statement configuration and selected "Use this identification" and put brackets around my IP for example [127.0.0.1] is the format I have it, but instead of 127.0.0.1 I have my external IP address.

I then sent test emails out and then checked the logs and the HELO statement is not keeping the brackets around my IP according to the logs and I am still having trouble being blacklisted because of it.

Any ideas?
