We are using Postcast Server.

When we send out email, if they have an error, our Outbox interface, under the Error column, would show the reasons, the Error Message, for example, Connection Time Out, of the error. But once it is done, being moved into Sent, Bounced, Bad categories, the Error Message is gone.

Is it possible that we capture this error information in a log? We would like to monitor each recipient address, especially, those that bounced or have errors, and handle them on a case-by-case basis.

When we open up the log, we see that there are many threads with their status--a bit difficult to us to deciper. Is it possible that we can import this into a database reporting program (or something that one of the Postcast products can do this for) so that we know that exact problem corresponded to each error?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, the only way to track error messages is to go trough logs. They are designed for human reading so parsing them programmatically can be a little difficult.

Thank you for your quick reply.

But I am just curious--why the error columns in the Send interface once could show the error reasons and not in Bounced interface?

Thanks again.
