Connecting From LAN or the Internet

There are three possible ways to connect to the server:

1. E-mail client is on a local computer, i.e. the server and the client are on the same computer
2. E-mail client is on a computer in the Local Area Network (LAN)
3. E-mail client accesses the server from the Internet
